Cayuga Landscape is seeking a Gardener/ Horticulturalist to join our team. The candidate must be well-versed in horticultural knowledge and have extensive and proven experience caring for various plants in residential and commercial settings. Identification of landscape plants, familiarity with common weeds and pests, pruning techniques, small equipment operation, and excellent customer service are required.

Typically, the Gardener/Horticulturist works independently, or with an assistant. Supervisory experience and experience operating equipment are beneficial, but not essential. You must be able to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must also write clearly and have good attention to detail when filling out paperwork. Certifications and licenses are a plus. Must have a clean NYS driver’s license.

This is a full-time, hourly, seasonal position. We offer many benefits including readily available over-time, health insurance and paid holidays after 90 days, and continuing education. We are a diverse group and offer a friendly and fulfilling work environment.

Salary (based on experience): $20-$24/hr.
